Abstract:
This amino-modified silicone emulsion composition comprises: (A) 100 parts by mass of an amino-modified silicone having a specific amino group equivalent, wherein the amount of octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane is 5,000 ppm or less; (B) 0.5 to 20 parts by mass of an amino-modified silicone having an amino group equivalent of 500 to 3,000 g/mol, wherein the viscosity at 25 °C is 10 to 230 mPa·s and the amount of octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane is 5,000 ppm or less; (C) 5 to 100 parts by mass of a nonionic surfactant; and (D) 10 to 2,000 parts by mass of water. This amino-modified silicone emulsion composition contains a small amount of octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane and has excellent preservability and dilution stability. This amino-modified silicone emulsion composition is blended in a hair cosmetic to impart excellent sense of use such as slipperiness and touch feeling.
