Abstract:
The present invention is an amphibious hydrofoil bicycle which overcomes the limitations of conventional water bicycles that have inefficient power transmissions consisting of a driven track gripping the tire tread, and significantly improves propulsion by means of a power train that works via the meshing of a driven chain with a freewheel cassette that constitutes the rear gear-changer and a freewheel driven gearbox. In acceleration mode, a feeling of speed and more thrills can be enjoyed by means of the hydrofoils that cause the boat body to elevate. The use of a flexible wire-type propulsion module equipped with a simpler support component; a propulsion module; a propulsion module stay for the folding up and opening out of the steering key module; and a control box having enhanced wire operating functionality as well as a connecting component for said control box, all contribute to simpler assembly by one person on land and ease of entry into water. Furthermore, it is possible to ride on water of a depth of 30 to 40cm using the amphibious hydrofoil bicycle of the present invention.
