Amphibious vehicle comprises a chassis frame (1), a ship-shaped carriage (2), a clutch lifting device (5), a land running device (3), and a water propelling device (4). By the clutch lifting device, the position changing of the chassis frame and the ship-shaped carriage can be controlled. On the land, the hip-shaped carriage is above the chassis frame or spaced from land for a distance. The amphibious vehicle runs on the land by using of the chassis frame and the land running device. In the water, the ship-shaped carriage can be fallen down by the clutch lifting device. The ship-shaped carriage will get flotage on the water. The chassis frame and the land running device will be above the water. The amphibious vehicle runs on the water by using of the water propelling device. By using of the streamline ship-shaped carriage, the resistance force is little, and the amphibious vehicle will run as same as the current ship. Because the land running device is lifted with the chassis frame, the braking apparatus, the steering apparatus, the suspension apparatus and the transmission apparatus of land running employ the same as current vehicle, which reduce the cost and increase the reliability.
