Abstract:
An amplification device according to one aspect of the technical idea of the present invention comprises: a first amplification unit for amplifying an input signal if a power level of the input signal is within a first range; a second amplification unit for amplifying the input signal if the power level of the input signal is within a second range; and an abnormality sensing unit for sensing an abnormality occurrence in the second amplification unit, wherein the abnormality sensing unit senses reverse direction power for an output of the second amplification unit so as to generate a sensing voltage, and compares the sensing voltage and a reference voltage so as to sense whether an abnormality has occurred in the second amplification unit.
