Abstract:
Disclosed is an amplifier circuit (1) of an envelope tracking method provided with a timing adjustment unit (1B) comprising a limited number of adjustment values for adjusting the time by which output is delayed in response to input and capable of adjusting the mutual time difference of input signals arriving at the amplifier (100) and the power supply voltage by selection of the adjustment value; a test signal output unit (108) capable of repeatedly sending a test signal as an input signal at predetermined periods; and an adjustment value determination unit (109) for sequentially measuring m (where m is an arbitrary natural number less than or equal to k) periods of output power of the amplifier (100) while modifying the adjustment value at the timing adjustment unit (1B) to a different value every k (where k is an arbitrary natural number) periods of the test signal, searching for the adjustment value at which the total (or average) of m periods of the output power is maximized, and setting the adjustment value for the timing adjustment unit (1B).
