Abstract:
This amplifier (10) comprises a high-frequency-signal input-side transistor (21) and a high-frequency-signal output-side transistor (22) that are cascode-connected. The amplifier (10) is provided with an input matching circuit (31) connected to an input end of the transistor (21), and an output matching circuit (32) connected to an output end of the transistor (22). The input matching circuit (31) includes a transmission line transformer (41). The transmission line transformer (41) is provided with a line (411) and a line (412). The line (411) is connected to a high-frequency-signal input terminal and to the transistor (21). The line (412) is arranged so as to be capable of forming an electromagnetic field coupling with the line (411), with one end of the line (412) being connected to a node (N41) between the line (411) and the high-frequency-signal input terminal, and the other end of the line (412) being connected to a ground potential.
