Abstract:
This amplifying device is provided with: a self-excited class-D amplifier circuit including a modulation circuit in which pulse modulation by self-excited oscillation is performed on an acoustic signal; and an operation control unit that supplies, to the modulation circuit, a synchronous signal synchronized with the self-excited oscillation when an index related to the volume of the acoustic signal is lower than a threshold value, and stops supplying the synchronous signal to the modulation circuit when the index is higher than the threshold value.
