Abstract:
An efficient amplifying device is attained. An amplifying device for amplifying a signal to be amplified was made to have the following configuration. The amplifying device is provided with an amplifier (PA) (5) for amplifying a signal. A level controlling means (1) converts the level of the signal to be amplified, according to the level of the signal. Power supply controlling means (6, 8) supply a power supply voltage to be determined according to the level of the signal to be amplified, to the amplifier (PA) (5). The amplifier (PA) (5) amplifies the signal the level of which was converted by the level controlling means (1), using the power supply voltage supplied thereto by the power supply controlling means (6, 8).
