Abstract:
An amplitude-limiting amplifier (4) is provided with: a matching circuit (41) for achieving impedance matching with a transmission line (5) in which a signal is transmitted; a first amplification circuit (42) disposed following the matching circuit (41); a filter circuit (43) disposed following the first amplification circuit (42); and a second amplification circuit (44) disposed following the filter circuit (43), the second amplification circuit (44) amplifying an inputted signal to a fixed amplitude. The filter circuit (43) is provided with a switching unit (SW1) for switching the time constant (τ) of the filter circuit (43).
