Abstract:
An amusement ride, such as a roller coaster (10) or vertical tower track ride (106), includes an attachment assembly (18,110) movably connected to a track system (14,108). A vehicle assembly (16,112) is connected to the attachment assembly (18,11C) and includes a seat assembly having at least one rider seat (56,120). The vehicle assembly (16,112) is coupled to the attachment assembly (18,110) and configured such that the seat assembly is capable of fully rotating about first and second, and preferably event third axes independent of the track system.
