Abstract:
An analog computing device in time mode, comprising at least one multiplication unit (10), the multiplication unit (10) comprising: a digital-to-time converter (DTC), inputting a reference signal (Ref) and a digital signal M1, for outputting a signal, the time delay between the signal and the reference signal (Ref) being |M1|; a time amplifier (TA), inputting the reference signal (Ref) and the output signal of the digital-to-time converter (DTC), for amplifying the time delay between two signals, the two signals being the reference signal (Ref) and the output signal of the digital-to-time converter (DTC), by |M2| times and then respectively outputting the two signals, M2 being the amplification factor of the time amplifier; an edge detector (ED), for detecting the edge of the two signals outputted by the time amplifier (TA), so as to output a signal whose pulse width is equal to the time delay between the two signals. The computing device can be realized on the basis of a digital integrated circuit, and represent numerical values using time. The computation is done in one step.
