Abstract:
It is possible to provide an analog current output circuit which can reduce a power loss when a load to be connected has a small resistance value and can assure a high-speed response when the load to be connected has a large resistance value. The rise start position and inclination of the internal control voltage Va are set so that the load terminal voltage Vb obtained when a load (3) to be connected has a resistance value in the vicinity of the center of the specification range intersects an analog output current at its maximum value. A switch (8) performs control based on a comparison result obtained by a comparator (11) as follows. When an internal control voltage Va is smaller than a load terminal voltage Vb, a DC/DC converter (1) is controlled to input a high reference voltage H so that an output transistor (2) outputs a high power supply voltage VccH. When the internal control voltage Va is greater than the load terminal voltage Vb, the DC/DC converter (1) is controlled to input a low reference voltage L so that the output transistor (2) outputs a low power supply voltage VccL.
