Abstract:
The present invention relates to an analog optical relay device and method for expanding a service area of a base station device by maximally using normal CP 4.7 µsec in an LTE OFDMA scheme. According to one aspect of the present invention, the analog optical relay device for expanding a service area of a base station device including a digital unit, a radio unit, and a digital optical line interconnecting the digital unit and the radio unit, comprises: a coupler connected to an output terminal of the radio unit; a master unit of an analog repeater connected to the coupler; and a slave unit of the analog repeater connected to the master unit through an analog optical line.
