Abstract:
In the present invention, when imaging mass spectrometry is carried out on an area to be measured on a sample, an individual reference value calculation unit (21) determines a maximum Pi/Ii value for measurement points (where Pi is a TIC value and Ii is a maximum intensity value) and saves the same to an external storage device (3) as an individual reference value together with measurement data. When a plurality of data sets obtained from different samples are compared and analyzed, a common reference value determination unit (22) reads the plurality of corresponding individual reference values and makes the smallest value a common reference value Fmin. A normalization calculation processing unit (23) normalizes each intensity value read from the external storage device (3) by multiplying the value by a normalization coefficient long_MaxX (Fmin/Pi) determined from the common reference value Fmin, the TIC value Pi for each measurement point, and the maximum allowed value long_Max of a variable storing the intensity value during calculation. As a result, it is possible to simply normalize intensity values between a plurality of mass spectrometry image data items, avoid overflow during calculation, and minimize rounding errors.
