Abstract:
A drive unit (4) intermittently rotates a cuvette table (3) on which multiple cuvettes are annularly arranged so as to repeatedly alternate between a resting state and a rotating state; each intermittent rotation of the cuvette table (3), the driving unit drives the cuvette table (3) to displace the series of cuvettes in the annular direction by a prescribed number of cuvettes. In the resting state, a pre-processing unit (6) pre-processes the cuvette resting in a preprocessing position (6p), and a post-processing unit (7) post-processes the cuvette resting in a post-processing position (7p). In the rotating state, a photometric unit (5) photometrically measures the cuvettes passing a photometry position (5p). A control unit (8) controls the drive unit (4) such that in the rotating state, between when pre-processing of the cuvette resting in the pre-processing position (6p) has been completed and when said cuvette has come to rest in the post-processing position (7p), for each pass through the photometry position (5p), the cuvette passes through said photometry position (5) at a constant rotation speed.
