Title:
ANALYSIS METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/119137
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To identify and quantify triglyceride molecule types in a sample using few standards. [Solution] The present invention includes: a step for measuring the fatty acid composition of all fatty acids configuring triglycerides contained in a sample; a step for calculating for each molecule type the probability of appearance of a triglyceride molecule type contained in the sample from the measured fatty acid composition; a step for forming an actual chromatography profile by separating the triglyceride molecule types contained in the sample by means of chromatography; and a step for forming a predicted chromatography profile from the calculated probability of appearance of the triglyceride molecule types and a retention factor for each triglyceride molecule type. By comparing the predicted chromatography profile and the actual chromatography profile, the molecule type of each separated triglyceride molecule type is identified.
