Abstract:
The anchor comprises a fluke with a surface centre of gravity and a front or penetration end, and a rear end. A shank is connected at a first end to the fluke and is provided at a second end with a first element for attachment to an anchor line. The shank is attached by means of at least one hinged joint to the fluke at a location either towards the front or towards the rear at a distance of the centre of gravity. It is attached by means of a disconnectable connection to the fluke in a location on the other side of the centre of gravity with respect to the hinged joint.
