Abstract:
An fastener (10) for securing fixtures to buildings or other base materials. The fastener is assembled by a mechanical engagement between two pieces (12, 14). The first piece (12) includes a first (22) and second (28) bore. The first bore may be connected to a fixture, such as a pipe hanger, and the second bore is mechanically engaged with the second piece (14), which may include a self-tapping screw.
