Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain an angle error correction device for a position detector and an angle error correction method, which are capable of accurately estimating and correcting angle error. A position detector performs a frequency analysis on a specific frequency component of electric motor current and can estimate the periodic error of the position detector on the basis of the frequency analysis result. In this case, a test signal having known amplitude, phase, and frequency is applied to perform an operation and a process for performing the frequency analysis at the frequency of the test signal is carried out multiple times, thereby estimating the error of the position detector on the basis of the amplitude and phase calculated by the frequency analysis that has been carried out multiple times.
