Abstract:
Provided is a protective cover assembly (10) for an angle grinder (1). The protective cover assembly comprises a main protective cover (100) and an auxiliary cover (200). The main protective cover (100) comprises a fixing ring (101) used for being connected to the angle grinder (1) in an assembled mode, a main wall (102) connected to the fixing ring (101) and disposed parallel to a rotating work plane of the angle grinder (1), and an annular peripheral wall (103) formed by bending with respect to the main wall (102); and one end of the annular peripheral wall (103) away from the main wall (102) is provided with an inner folding edge (104). The auxiliary cover (200) is detachably assembled to the main protective cover (100); the auxiliary cover (200) comprises a protective portion (202) opposite to the main wall (102), a fitting portion (204) fitted to the inner folding edge (104), and a manual locking portion (201) matching the fitting portion (204) to keep the auxiliary cover (200) on the main protective cover (100); and the main wall (102), the annular peripheral wall (103), and the protective portion (202) jointly define to form a protective space (30) having a cutting function opening (301). According to the protective cover assembly (10), the auxiliary cover (200) is fixed by means of the existing inner folding edge (104) of the main protective cover (100), the manual locking portion (201) of the auxiliary cover (200) matches the main protective cover (100) for locking, switching of two functions of the protective cover can be achieved without complicated structural changes to the existing main protective cover (100), and the closure stability of the protective cover during working is ensured.
