Description:
ANGLE VALVE PROVIDED WITH EASE IN MOUNTING

Subject of the Invention

The subject of the invention relates to an angle valve with the structure of the parts altered on the body thereof and with the ease in mounting provided by reducing the number of parts.

State of the Art

According to the present state of the art, the seal used in the angle valve structure has the structure of an ordinary screw and is fixed into the body of the angle valve. There is present a threaded structure on the body that corresponds to the threaded structure on the seal and the seal is fixed into the body by the interlock taking place between said threaded structures. However, the wear develops in time on the threaded surfaces as a result of the opening and closing actions and the problem of water leakage arises in the product caused by the deformation. In order to provide a solution for this problem, a novel angle valve has been developed within the scope of the invention, in which both the lifetime of the product is prolonged and the convenience of mounting is provided owing to the use of a part with a different structure instead of the seal. Object of the Invention

The object of the invention is to develop an angle valve, in which both the lifetime of the product is prolonged and the convenience of mounting is provided.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The subject of the invention relates to an angle valve with the structure of the parts altered on the body thereof and with the ease in mounting provided by reducing the number of parts.

The angle valve according to the invention comprises at least one body (2), at least one shaft (5) to be positioned into the body (2), at least one flywheel (7) for controlling the process of allowing or interrupting the water flow and at least one shaft fixing member (6) for fixing said shaft (5) within the body (2). The parts of the angle valve according to the invention can be seen in the figures in assembled state. The shaft (5) comprises thereon at least one buttress screw section (5a) and is positioned within the body (2). The body (2) comprises at least one second entrance port (2b) that enables the shaft (5) to be fixed within said body (2). The shaft (5) fits into the body (2) by means of said second entrance port (2b) and is thus positioned inside the body.

According to a representative embodiment of the invention shown in Figure 3, the fixing of the shaft (5) into the body (2) is achieved by means of at least one shaft fixing member (6) with circular form, which is engaged on the shaft. Said shaft fixing member (6), in a state engaged on the shaft (5), is positioned into at least one channel (2d) within the body (2), as can be seen in Figure 3. By means of the shaft fixing member (6) engaged on the shaft (5), the reciprocating motion of the shaft (5) on the body (2) is limited. Within the scope of the invention, a ring may for example be used as said shaft fixing member (6) engaged on the shaft (5).

Another representative embodiment of the invention can be seen in Figures 7 and 8. According to the embodiment of the invention shown in Figures 7 and 8, a shaft fixing member (6) is used, which is fixed into its respective slot on the body (2). Said shaft fixing member (6) is fixed on the body (2) via its respective slot on the body (2) and one end thereof contacts the shaft (5) within the body (2) to limit the movement of the shaft (5) inside the body (2). A sectional view for said embodiment is shown in Figure 7. It is possible for said shaft fixing member (6) to be a screw according to the present embodiment of the invention. At least one connection member (8) is positioned within at least one slot on the flywheel (7) and the shaft (5) and the flywheel (7) are fixed on the body (2) as can be seen in Figure 3. Said connection member (8) is preferably a screw.

An alternative embodiment of the invention comprises at least one filter (9), which is positioned on the body (2) and which retains the contaminants within the water coming from the water source. Said filter (9) may be positioned into the body (2) by means of at least one first entrance port (2a). Said filter (9) is positioned into the body (2) via said first entrance port (2a), and the cleaning lid (10) is placed on the body (2) through the first entrance port (2a) and it covers the first entrance port (2a).

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one rosette (1) is positioned on the body (2) and covers the mounting hole on the surface where the product is to be mounted. As can be seen in Figure 2, the body (2) comprises at least one threaded surface (2c) on which the rosette (1) is positioned.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one sealing member (4) is positioned on the shaft (5). Said sealing member (4) is preferably an o-ring, while it is also possible within the scope of the invention to use a different sealing member.

According to another representative embodiment of the invention, at least one shaft sealing member (3) is positioned on the shaft (5). As can be seen in Figure 3, said shaft sealing member (3) is engaged on the shaft (5). Unlike a known sealing member having the structure of a ring, the shaft sealing member (3) is a sealing member that is engaged like a cap on the shaft (5).

According to another representative embodiment of the invention, at least one sealing member (4) is positioned on the cleaning lid (10). Said sealing member (4) is preferably an o- ring, while it is also possible within the scope of the invention to use a different sealing member.

In the angle valve developed within the scope of the invention, a shaft (5) is used instead of the seal and the fixing of the shaft (5) on the body (2) is achieved by means of the shaft fixing member (6).
