Abstract:

An angular ball bearing comprising: an inner ring having an inner ring track groove having a cross-sectionally arc shape in the outer peripheral surface; an outer ring having an outer ring track groove having a cross-sectionally arc shape in the inner peripheral surface; and a plurality of balls provided so as to be able to roll between the inner ring track groove and the outer ring track groove. A groove curvature radius ratio Ri of the inner ring track groove to the ball diameter is 54-58%, a groove curvature radius ratio Ro of the outer ring track groove to the ball diameter is 51-58%, and Ri-Ro≥0 points is satisfied. Further, at least the inner ring track groove has a maximum contact pressure of 4.7-6.0 GPa when the sum of permanent deformation amounts of the ball and the inner ring track groove at the center of a contact portion between the ball and the inner ring track groove is 1/10000 of the ball diameter. Accordingly, the present invention provides an angular ball bearing capable of reducing a heat generation amount and suppressing damage due to an external impact load under a static state.
