Title:
ANIMAL CELLS HAVING CHIMERIC RECEPTOR AND UTILIZATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/029244
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to provide animal cells selectively inducing an immune response in the presence of an antigen which is specifically recognized by a single chain antibody, a vector DNA carrying a recombinant gene for constructing the above animal cells, and a method for producing a useful substance, a method of measuring the concentration of an antigen, a method of screening a cell response activator, a method of measuring an interaction between proteins, a method of controlling a cell response, a method of screening a chimeric receptor, a method of screening a cell having a foreign gene transferred thereinto, a virus vector DNA for treating cancer and so on with the use of the animal cells or the vector DNA as described above. Using fluorescein, a vector DNA carrying a recombinant gene of a single chain antibody 31IJ3 gene against thereto, a mouse erythropoietin receptor gene and a mouse gp130 gene is transferred into target cells and a chimeric receptor is expressed on the surface of cell membrane. Thus, transgenic cells, which can undergo cell growth factor-independent proliferation due to the stimulus by a fluorescein dimer, can be constructed.
