Abstract:
An annular body manufacturing device (1) is provided with a wire material conveying device (10) which conveys a wire material (W), and a winding device (20) around which the wire material (W) is wound, wherein the winding device (20) includes: a winding core (21) around which the wire material (W) is wound; and a guide roll (22), a bending roll (23) and pressing rolls (24, 26) which are arranged in order in the direction of travel of the wire material (W) in such a way as to surround the winding core (21). The winding core (21), the guide roll (22), the bending roll (23) and the pressing rolls (24, 26) are provided upright with respective axes thereof facing in the vertical direction, and the diameter of the winding core (21) is 60 to 130 mm. The wire material (W), which has a rectangular cross sectional shape, and has a width and thickness of 10 to 30 mm and a cross-sectional area of 200 to 600 mm2 is wound in a spiral onto the winding core (21) while being bent, by means of a conveying force due to the wire material conveying device (10) and by means of a restriction due to the guide roll (22) and the bending roll (23).
