Abstract:
The present invention relates to an annular sealing material which comprises an inner core and an outer layer that covers the periphery of the inner core, wherein: the outer layer has a parting line on the outer diameter side and on the inner diameter side; and at least a part of a portion of the outer layer where the parting line is present has a thickness that is smaller than the thickness of a portion of the outer layer where the parting line is not present. The present invention provides: an annular sealing material which has a parting line that has improved visibility; and a method for producing this annular sealing material.
