Abstract:
The present invention relates to an antagonistic small molecule compound having a Toll-like receptor (TLR) 7/9 inhibitory function and, more specifically, to a novel small molecule compound for inhibiting a TLR7/9 signaling path, a method for producing same, and a composition for preventing or treating an autoimmune disease or an inflammatory disease, comprising same. The novel compound according to the present invention not only blocks secretion of TNF-α induced by CpG-ODN (TLR9 agonist) or IMQ (TLR7 agonist) but also inhibits generation of inflammatory cytokines and, thus, is useful for prevention or treatment of TLR7/9-related autoimmune diseases and inflammatory diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus and psoriasis, in particular.
