Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to provide an antenna apparatus and an electronic device wherein the reduction in the size of casing and the stabilization of communications have been achieved by making effective use of a magnetic shielding effect using a metal plate regardless of the internal structure of the mobile device, the relation to the other components and so on. Included is an antenna coil (12) that is divided, into two parts, i.e., one side part and the other side part of a loop antenna (11), by an edge of a magnetic sheet (110) affixed to an internal wall surface of a metallic substance (111) located remotely from an antenna (121) of an opposed external device. The one side part of the loop antenna (11) is opposed to the magnetic sheet (110), while the other side part of the loop antenna (11) is opposed to the remotely located metallic substance (111).
