Abstract:
The present invention discloses an antenna assembly (10) and an electronic device (100), the antenna assembly (10) comprising a metal frame (12), a radiation unit (14), a feed terminal (16), and a metal sheet (18). The radiation unit (14) is disposed within the metal frame (12). The feed terminal (16) is connected to the radiation unit (14) and is used for transmitting an electric signal. The metal sheet (18) is coupled with the radiation unit (14) so as to induce a circularly polarized electric field. By means of the well-designed structures and positional relationships of the metal frame (12), an installation sheet (13), the radiation unit (14), the feed terminal (16), a feed line, and the metal sheet (18), an induced current, which is generated by the metal sheet (18) under the action of the radiation unit (14), counteracts on the radiation unit (14) to form the circularly polarized electric field, and thus said antenna assembly (10) and electronic device (100) achieve the reception and transmission of a circularly polarized signal while improving right circularly polarized gain; relative to conventional ceramic chip antennas, the antenna assembly (10) of the present invention is smaller in volume, has smaller dimensions, is more lightweight, is more favorable for integrated design, and may improve the portability of the electronic device (100) when applied to the electronic device (100).
