Abstract:
An antenna assembly comprising an antenna reflector steering mechanism is disclosed. In adjusting the horizontal azimuth of a reflector, the present invention provides a reflector steering structure including a drive motor disposed on the rear surface of the reflector, a planetary gear rotated by the drive motor, and a sector rack gear meshing with the planetary gear and fixed to a support shaft, thereby reducing the overall size of the antenna structure. In addition, the present invention employs a structure in which reinforced electrical insulation is provided to portions of the drive unit that are in rolling contact, sliding contact, and the like with each other and portions where the contact pressure therebetween changes, thereby preventing fluctuations in the radio performance of the antenna system due to the reflector steering.
