Provided are an antenna attitude detection method and apparatus. A first solar direction parameter at a first moment and a second solar direction parameter at a second moment are acquired via an antenna attitude detection apparatus; a relative relationship between an antenna and a ground surface coordinate system is determined according to the first solar direction parameter and the second solar direction parameter; an antenna attitude parameter is determined according to the relative relationship, wherein a photosensitive module of the antenna attitude detection apparatus is fixedly connected to the antenna; and then the antenna attitude detection apparatus sends the antenna attitude parameter of the antenna to a monitoring device. Thus, additional human costs caused by manual detection are avoided; meanwhile, since an angle of sunlight irradiating the ground at a specific location and time is fixed, based on the first solar direction parameter and the second solar direction parameter, a relative relationship between an antenna and a ground surface coordinate system is determined, and then an antenna attitude parameter of the antenna is obtained, so that the accuracy of measurement can be effectively improved.
