Abstract:
To provide a transponder capable of having desired characteristics by an extremely
novel method for forming a resonance circuit, despite the fact that its cost is
low and its structure is simple. An antenna circuit (41) to be provided in the
transponder comprises an antenna conductor (43) having a predetermined conductor
pattern formed on the front surface of a base (42) and a sheet metal (44) disposed
on the rear surface of the base (42). A part of the sheet metal (44) is provided
with a slit (44b) so formed that its start end (A) and terminal end (B) are opened
to the area where the sheet metal (44) does not exist.
