Abstract:
An easy-to-manufacture antenna coil with less incidences of chipping is provided without substantially causing an increase in the wiring resistance of a conductor coil and a drop in the specific resistance of a magnetic core. The antenna coil (10) includes a magnetic core (1) and a conductor coil (3) that is provided around or inside the magnetic core (1). The conductor coil (3) is made of a conductor containing copper, and the magnetic core (1) is made of a sintered ferrite material containing Fe, Mn, Ni, Zn, and Cu. This sintered ferrite material contains: Cu in an amount of 5 mol% or less in terms of CuO; and either Fe in an amount of 25 mol% to 47 mol% inclusive in terms of Fe2O3 and Mn in an amount of 1 mol% to 7.5 mol% exclusive in terms of Mn2O3; or Fe in an amount of 35 mol% to 45 mol% inclusive in terms of Fe2O3 and Mn in an amount of 7.5 mol% to 10 mol% inclusive in terms of Mn2O3.
