Abstract:
The present invention relates to an antenna controlling device and controlling method based on wireless access in a vehicular environment. The present invention relates to a WAVE-based antenna controlling technique for selectively operating a plurality of antennas via a single controlling unit, and to a WAVE-based antenna controlling device and method, the device comprising: a WAVE modem for outputting signals for selecting one of the plurality of antennas; an interface unit for, at the time of transmitting and receiving data between the controlling unit and a vehicle terminal according to antenna selecting signals outputted from the WAVE modem, converting and outputting the transmitted and received data; and a data processing unit for transmitting a first data of transmission converted by the interface unit via the selected antenna, receiving a second data received at a device terminal via the selected antenna, and transmitting the second data to the WAVE modem via the interface unit.
