Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain: an antenna device with which a configuration for controlling directivity characteristics can be simplified; and an array antenna device capable of inhibiting an increase in the complexity of the control configuration even if the number of arrayed unit antennae is increased. The present invention is provided with: an element unit (100) including a driven element (1), a first parasitic element (11) provided with first and second conductive parts (11a, 11b), a second parasitic element (21) provided with third and fourth conductive parts (21a, 21b), a first switch (12) for controlling the passage of current between the first conductive part and the second conductive part, and a second switch (22) for controlling the passage of current between the third conductive part and the fourth conductive part; and a control unit (200) which applies an electrical signal for controlling the passage of current through the first and second switches. The control unit applies the same direct-current signal to the first and second switches. The first and second switches are configured such that, in cases when one switch allows the passage of current therethrough, the other switch does not allow the passage of current therethrough.
