In the present invention, a ground conductor is provided as a plate conductor on an inner layer of a circuit substrate (20). An antenna coil (21) is mounted in a state where a first main surface (MS1) of a magnetic body core (8) opposes the circuit substrate (20). The antenna coil (21) is disposed so that a first conductor portion (11) of a coil conductor (9) is positioned so as to be closer to a ground conductor (GND) than a second conductor portion (12) is. The antenna coil (21) is disposed so that the first conductor portion (11) of the coil conductor is positioned close to the end portion in the longitudinal direction of a housing (200) (namely, a portion (E) that becomes the upper end part when the communication terminal device is gripped in the vertical direction), and so that the first conductor portion of the coil conductor is bent in the direction approaching the ground conductor (GND). Due to the foregoing, a communication terminal device is configured so that regardless of the positional relationship with a communication partner (in particular, the angular relationship) deterioration of communication performance can be suppressed and communication with a communication partner over a wide range of angles becomes possible.
