Abstract:

An antenna device (201) is provided with a substrate (10) formed with a planar conductor (11), and a coil antenna (100). The coil antenna (100) is configured so that a coil conductor (21) is wound around a magnetic core (20). The coil antenna (100) is arranged so that the coil opening of the coil conductor (21) is located near the edge of the planar conductor (11). A current (a) flowing in the coil conductor (21) induces a current (b) in the planar conductor (11). Thereby, a flux indicated by the arrow (A) is generated in the coil antenna (100), and the flux indicated by the arrow (B) is generated in the planar conductor (11). Thereby, the flux (C) is generated in the surrounding area of the planar conductor (11). Accordingly, while ensuring a predetermined communication distance, an antenna device which occupies a small area and a small communication terminal device can be configured.
