Abstract:
In the present invention, an array accommodated in a casing includes a plurality of antenna elements. The plurality of antenna elements are opposed to an inner surface of the casing and are at least one-dimensionally arranged in a first direction. A waveguide is coupled to the plurality of antenna elements of the array antenna and extends from the array antenna toward the inner surface of the casing. The length from one end to the other end, in the first direction, of an end surface of the waveguide that is on the inner surface side of the casing is greater than the length from one end to the other end, in the first direction, of an end surface of the waveguide that is on the array antenna side. Provided is an antenna device that exhibits an improved antenna gain without increasing the size of an antenna module thereof.
