Abstract:
This antenna device is provided with a plurality of antenna elements (20) that perform transmission and/or reception of radio waves. In the radiation patterns of the antenna elements, main lobes (26) have respective coverage areas that overlap with each other, while the shapes of side lobes (27) are different among the antenna elements. With this configuration, it becomes possible to extract signals resulting from radio waves coming from within the coverage area of the main lobe of an antenna by discriminating said signals from the signals resulting from radio waves coming from outside the coverage area.
