Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to easily achieve a configuration in which a waveguide and a transmission line are connected. [Solution] An antenna device of the present disclosure comprises: a substrate including a conductor layer; a first conductor pattern disposed on a surface of the substrate; a connecting portion that connects the first conductor pattern to the conductor layer; a second conductor pattern of which one end side is connected to one end side of the first conductor pattern and that has a length greater than or equal to substantially 1/4 of an operation wavelength; a plurality of first electromagnetic band gap elements disposed on both sides of the first conductor pattern in the longitudinal direction thereof on the substrate; a plurality of second electromagnetic band gap elements disposed on both sides of the second conductor pattern in the longitudinal direction thereof on the substrate; a conductor plate opposite the first conductor pattern; and a third conductor pattern of which one end side is connected to the other end side of the second conductor pattern, and that is disposed on the surface of the substrate.
