Abstract:
Provided is a small antenna device which can continuously vary a plurality of resonant frequencies in a wide band with a low control voltage, and furthermore, is capable of performing matching between a power feed section and a radiation element corresponding to each resonant frequency. A wireless communication device is also provided.
The antenna device (1) is provided with a first antenna section (2), a second antenna section (3), and a matching circuit section (4). The first antenna section (2) has a first radiation element (21), a capacitance power feed section (22), and a tuned circuit section (23), and the second antenna section (3) has a second radiation element (31). A second variable capacitance diode (41) in the matching circuit section (4) has the cathode side thereof connected to a power feeding line (111). A control voltage (Vc) is outputted to the power feed line (111) from a control voltage source (120) via a power feed section (110). As a result, the tuned circuit section (23) and the matching circuit section (4) change the reactance value, while being synchronized by means of the control voltage (Vc).
