Abstract:
Disclosed is an antenna device with improved directivity. The antenna device comprises a hybrid circuit having first and second outputs with a phase difference of 90 degrees, a first antenna element fed by the first output of the hybrid circuit, and a second antenna element fed by the second output of the hybrid circuit. The hybrid circuit achieves the 90-degree phase difference between the first and second outputs by comprising a meta-material structure. With the antenna device, two or more antennas can be powered inside a compact device, and the directivity of the antenna device can be controlled.
