Abstract:
Linear elements (101a-101d) are conductors each having an element length L1 of a half wavelength and disposed in a rhomboidal form. A delay element (102a) and a delay element (102b) are conductors each having a full length of 1/4 wavelength and a folded-back length L2 of 1/8 wavelength. The linear element (101a) and the linear element (101c) are connected via the delay element (102a), and the linear element (101b) and the linear element (101d) via the delay element (102b). A feed unit (103) is connected to one end of each of the linear element (101a) and the linear element (101b) to feed power to the linear elements. The tip ends of the linear element (101c) and the linear element (101d) are spaced apart from each other by a length L3. A reflection sheet (104) is disposed at a position away from a rhomboidal antenna with a delay element to the minus Z side by a distance h of 0.42 wavelength. Accordingly, an antenna device is suitable for mounting on a small radio and forms a horizontally polarized or vertically polarized main beam tilting in a horizontal direction.
