Abstract:
Provided is an antenna device having a good communication characteristic. An antenna device comprises: a ground plane having an end side; an antenna element that has a first line extending from a feeding point located in the vicinity of the end side in a direction away from the end side, and a second line extending along the periphery of a casing to a first end; and a metallic member that has a fourth line extending from a third end located near the first end along the periphery, a fifth line branching from the fourth line and extending to a fourth end located in front of the ground plane, and a sixth line branching from the fourth line and extending to the ground plane. The length from the first end through the second line, the first line, the ground plane, the sixth line and the fourth line to the third end is the half wavelength of the electrical length of a second wavelength of a second communication frequency. The length from a point at which the sixth line is connected to the ground plane through the fourth line to the fourth end of the fifth line is the quarter wavelength of the electrical length of a third wavelength of a third communication frequency.
