Abstract:
Provided is an antenna device whereby both directivity control and miniaturization can be achieved. A power feed element 10 and a parasitic element 20 face each other at a predetermined interval. A control circuit 30 changes the electrical length of the parasitic element 20, while maintaining the position and the physical length of the parasitic element 20. For instance, the parasitic element 20 is operated as a waveguide for the power feed element 10 by connecting the parasitic element 20 and a capacitor 22 to each other. Furthermore, the parasitic element 20 is operated as a reflector for the power feed element 10 by connecting the parasitic element 20 and a coil 23 to each other.
