Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an antenna for a dipole-type IC tag which can advantageously suppress decrease in communication distance caused by a defect in an antenna pattern without causing an increase in the size of the antenna and which can accommodate specifications of various IC chips and a wide range of communication frequencies. To this end, in this antenna for a dipole-type IC tag, an antenna radiation portion is configured by extending an antenna filament in the extending direction of the radiation portion while one pair of branches (112) branching in a direction crossing the extending direction of the radiation portion, and a mixing channel (111) which mixes the one pair of branches (112), are repeatedly formed. The mixing channel (111) is made to be of a configuration which extends in the extending direction of the radiation portion from the junction (n) of the one pair of branches (112) to the point of branching (m) of the next one pair of branches (112).
