Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an antenna which is secured to an electric device, with which compromises in the design of the exterior, from the direction of the front surface of the electric device, are suppressed, and which has directivity to the front surface side. An antenna (1) is provided with: a radiation element (3) that is formed using a conductor and radiates an electromagnetic wave by being supplied with electricity; and a parasitic element (6) which is formed using a conductor, is disposed near the radiation element (3) so as to be electromagnetically coupled to the radiation element (3) and is disposed in a plane substantially perpendicular to a plane including the radiation element (3), and which guides the electromagnetic wave without being supplied with electricity.
