Abstract:
An antenna according to one mode of the present invention comprises a primary radiator and a reflecting mirror. The primary radiator radiates electromagnetic waves. The reflecting mirror reflects electromagnetic waves radiated from the primary radiator, and has an aperture diameter and height equal to those of a parabolic reflecting mirror in which the aperture diameter is no more than 1.7 times the wavelength of the electromagnetic waves. The mirror surface is configured as a non-parabolic surface.
