Abstract:
Provided is a compact normal mode helical antenna which is not affected by adjacent conductors. In this antenna, the area of a cross section perpendicular to the axis of a coil constituting the normal mode helical antenna, for one turn at both ends of the coil, is less than the area of a cross section perpendicular to the axis of the coil in the vicinity of the center of the coil.
