Abstract:
The present invention relates to an antenna and to electronic equipment, whereby the antenna can be made more compact in size. At least one standard coil, which is a coil having an aperture of prescribed size, and at least one small coil, which is a coil having an aperture smaller in size than the standard coil, are electrically connected. A standard coil layer having the standard coil and a small coil layer having the small coil are stacked in such a way that the aperture of the small coil lies within the aperture of the standard coil. A surface layer is the standard coil layer. The present invention can be applied, e.g., to an antenna for contactless communication.
