Provided is an antenna that consists of a simple composition, that can be manufactured with a simple process, and that has good heat resistance. Also provided are a manufacturing method for the antenna, and a wireless IC device. The antenna consists of a first and a second radiating sections (23, 24) comprising one conductive wire (20) folded in a loop, said conductive wire having a first feed section (21) at one end thereof, and a second feed section (22) at the other end thereof. At the first and second radiating sections (23, 24), the parts of the conductive wire (20) going towards the folding points and the parts of the conductive wire (20) coming back from the folding points are drawn near each other and inductively coupled at the vicinity (25) of the first feed section (21), and at the vicinity (26) of the second feed section (22). The feed sections (21, 22) of the antenna (20A) are coupled to a wireless IC chip (30). The feed sections (21, 22) can also be coupled to a feed circuit of a feed circuit substrate coupled to the wireless IC.
